Speaker 1:

Welcome back to Homeopathy at Home with Melissa. Hey, Melissa.

Speaker 2:

Hey Brie, I'm excited to share this special Christmas message. With Christmas in just a couple of days, we wanted to just bring a special Christmas message to you all and the focus is going to be about gifts. So I would love to start with Br. What do you, what do you think about gifts? What does your family do with gifts during Christmas?

Speaker 1:

Okay, well, I first have to say Merry Christmas. This is our big favorite time of year. We love Christmas and there was a time in my life where I love Christmas and there was a time in my life where I, you know, wrestled with the physical gifts at Christmas, feeling like, you know, they're just so excessive and all the things. And also I am married to a gift giver. He loves giving gifts, not even just for Christmas, just all the time, which is sweet. But so in that wrestling I had, it was nice of the Lord to show me, at least for our family. We have three little boys and my husband loves giving gifts.

Speaker 1:

I have started to seriously love shopping for them, finding things for people in our life, and the way that we approach. It is not a specific thing. I know some people have like a certain amount they get, or maybe a dollar amount. We kind of just ask the Lord every year what is our, what does our family need, what does that look like for our boys? But we do love and we tell them we give gifts because in Jesus, god has given us the biggest gift. So really all we ever need is him. If we had no things, no presents, we could still celebrate that gift forever, but we are able to do this and we want to celebrate in that way, by giving gifts, to remind us that God has given us gifts and he loves to still give us gifts that are not, you know, things that we don't need all the time. So that's how we've approached it, um and I it has helped me even celebrate better, knowing God loves to give in abundance, not just physical toys or things, but Jesus is an abundant gift.

Speaker 1:

And you know, like the tangible expressions of that, like God does that often for his people. So that's our approach.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I love it. What a gift Jesus is. I mean, you know, when you really think about the gift that Jesus is, it's. I mean, he came to save the world, right? So he loves every single person. God loves every single person on this earth. I don't care who you are, I don't care what you've done, he loves you. Now, um, you know, sometimes people hear that wrong and think well, you know, you have to be, you have to be perfect, or what if I'm? What if I don't even believe in God? He still loves you. Um so, so, but you know, the gift of Jesus, I mean, where would we be? What an extravagant gift.

Speaker 1:

Right, I read it. I'm working through a Jude Bible study with some women and last night we met and obviously last night from when we're recording this but it was talking about the gift of Jesus and salvation and how it was. He was a gift. It is currently a gift, meaning salvation. So Jesus is currently a gift for us, and then there is still, like, the gift of eternity with him to come. So good.

Speaker 1:

Which is so cool. I mean, it's just a very full picture of what we were given in Christ. Yeah, and past, present, future.

Speaker 2:

Yeah and his. So you know, we know that Jesus is the word. The word is a living. So your Bible, when you get into your Bible, it's a living word. This is not a dead book. This is not just a history book to read a bunch of weird names and learn what happened a long time ago. When you read your Bible, it comes alive. God talks to you, he speaks to you through you know, the Holy Spirit is revealing, god's, revealing himself to you. I mean, that's what you know.

Speaker 2:

The revelation of Jesus is is not just an end times book. You know what's going to happen and how's it going to go down. It is the revelation of Jesus and that's what we're getting Every time we get into the, into the word. We're getting new revelations every single day, every single time. And so, um, revelations every single day, every single time. And so the word is a gift. And you know, proverbs 4.20 says my son, give attention to my words, incline your ear to my sayings, do not let them depart from your eyes, keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. They are life and health. And so you know this being a homeopathy podcast.

Speaker 2:

Homeopathy is a gift and homeopathy is a gift, but Jesus is the gift. We have to remember to put him first. So when you have a symptom, are you running to Jesus or are you running to your materia medica and that that and I am not saying that out of judgment or condemnation I hope that it encourages you turn to him first, because he is such a gift and the gift of health comes through him and get into the word. You know as much as you possibly can. I mean, every day, you eat every day and that's what the you know. We, we eat the word. We should be eating the word every single day. And so, what a gift, what a gift Jesus is. And you know, I absolutely believe that homeopathy is a gift from the Lord and you can, you know, go all the way back to our very first podcast episode and hear about how. You know what we think about. You know what the Bible says about health, mm, hmm, yeah, that's so good I love.

Speaker 1:

I know I don't want to just make it so cheeseball, but because I'm allowed to talk about it so openly here to you, the gift that homeopathy has been to my family, I know to the I mean everybody listening here will agree with that, um, and if it's your first time, just know this is a great time to join.

Speaker 1:

This is what we're actually about is Jesus. So homeopathy is just the tool that we're using on this platform, um, but it is such a gift and health is such a gift. And when you think of when you're given a gift, it's to use, and I know that's also so basic, but, um, and that goes for Jesus, it is a gift offered to use, and I know that's also so basic, but, and that goes for Jesus, it is a gift offered to us. He is a gift offered to us. Use that, you know. I mean surrender to that gift of salvation and that lordship in your life and then also use the gifts that he has given you in your life, that people, the resources and homeopathy being one of them. That's something God's really worked on in my heart in general is using the tools he has given us, the gifts that he has given me well and for his glory.

Speaker 2:

Exactly exactly. I mean, he gave us everything in the beginning that we need for life and health and enjoyment and um, so these things are gifts. All you have to you know when. When you're given a gift, you don't have to ask for it. If I hand you a gift right now, you don't have to ask for the gift. You receive the gift, the gifts that he has given you. He's already poured it out, he's already given the gifts. Now you just have to receive them.

Speaker 2:

So that's why we receive salvation and we receive his word and we receive him. You know into our hearts and our minds and and our spirits, and so you know into our hearts and our minds and and our spirits, and so you know what I want to give you all a gift. And so what I'm going to do is I don't care when you're listening to this, so I'm not even going to make this expire. This is going to be a gift. You, whenever you're listening to this, you go to melissacrenshawcom. Find which should be under the courses tab. That's where it is right now I don't change things around often but under the courses tab, the introduction to homeopathy, and you can get that for free by entering the coupon code G 2024. So, just all caps, gift 2024, no spaces, and grab that introduction to homeopathy, because homeopathy is a gift and Bree, and I want to teach you how to use it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it really has been so great for our family and actually that was how I got into. Homeopathy was a free offering that you had. Um, I jumped on that because it I mean, I'm not just saying this, it doesn't ha, it doesn't happen. Any other resources that I ever found was, I mean, they're so out of my price range. We were single income family, my husband's in ministry, so I was like I can't pay hundreds of dollars for something I don't even know if I'm going to use or how to do this. So that's huge. I want if you're listening, even if you're not ready to dive in yet, take advantage of that. Get it's available online. You can do it whenever. But I promise, once you get your feet wet a little bit, there's probably no turning back. That's right, that's right, but it's been so great. So also I want to say that to you, melissa, thank you, because without you, even offering that five years ago which is wild I wouldn't be where we are, my family wouldn't be where we are, we wouldn't be working together.

Speaker 1:

So, what another gift God's given me.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I love to give gifts. I love, love, love it. I love to give gifts. I love, love, love it. So, so, merry Christmas to all of you, no matter when you're listening or watching that, listening to or watching this, but you know this is is being released right here, just just a day or two before Christmas. So, merry Christmas, enjoy the gift of your family being close, enjoy the gift of today. So today is a gift, this very day, right now, while you're listening to this. This is a gift we are not promised tomorrow. So, merry Christmas to you all. We'll see you next year.

Speaker 1:

Merry Christmas.
